Now back to the arguments of what he is saying that they are not doing when it comes to being a fraudulent thing is one like I said they are providing call center representatives posing as lawyers. They are not providing any providing any information that these people are actual lawyers in the area and have proven that they have gotten the same people to appear in different states on these calls. Even though attorney shield promises you a lawyer license to represent you in your jurisdiction. He also >> he also makes the argument that attorney shield claims that you have a sixth amendment right no matter where you are be it what outside in the woods or on a traffic stop to have a lawyer present with you. I don't know how that works when you're hunting deer and you're dealing with DNR, but that's something else. >> Right [snorts] now, Attorney Shield did try to pull a bit of a sneaky move which pissed off the judge in the Virginia case. They tried to file a motion for a change of venue, but did not serve Mark anything for the change of venue, even though they were able to serve him with the other documents for Virginia case. They didn't even show up to the uh 15th uh the June 15th hearing of this year where the judge awarded them not awarded them but awarded Mark Selt $4,000 $1,000 for each of the counts. Now, Attorney Shield is currently trying to sell shares of their company due to the fact that they want to expand into not only dealing with traffic stops, but contract review, fin uh uh debt consolidations, estate planning, and other legal matters that you might need an attorney for. Mark actually had the arguments that they kind of shot themselves in the foot when they made this argument against him. He claims they were were a fraud and when he bought the stocks cuz he had changed his mind in what he thought they were a fraud at the time, they gave him his money back and told the court he can't sue us because he knew it was fraud. We were a fraudulent company. Now, now I'm not a lawyer, but maybe Gia or Touche or Phil or Jim can make this make sense to me. If you tell the court you're a fraud and you're being sued for fraud, but you can't be sued for fraud. Yeah, >> I've got even more breaking news. A month later, she wrote a letter to the judge to appeal her no contest plea and request a public defender. Before any trial, she pleaded no contest again and was sentenced to 4 months of probation and ordered to pay all fines and court costs. Addison insists that what she said online was not meant to be serious, but the deputies still appear apprehensive. >> The concern was that you had actually posted a picture of yourself and it said something to the effect of I'm going to this place up. They pissed me off now. Is that pretty accurate? >> Yeah, I did say that. I said it pissed me off. I posted it and it was like a couple people. >> Why does she look right and we're talking about this school? Obviously, this is where you're at. What prompted you to post? >> I was super upset. I didn't sleep. So, I was almost late today. And then someone called me out because I was wearing leggings and I completely forgot about the dress code. And so, but I just felt very like >> very >> targeted cuz she was like there's other people around me wearing the same exact thing. And so, I asked her if I could just stay for today and she said it was fine. But I think I >> So, it was a staff member. >> Yeah. According to police reports, a cell phone search of Addison's phone would later reveal that following the story, she posted a video at the school with her middle finger up. Minutes later, she texted her mother stating, "They keep making me hate this school more and more by all this stupid stuff they are doing," adding that this was the worst day of her life. >> What happens? >> I just in the industry, >> it's just been a lot right now. I'm just not in a like good situation like with how I am. And so I think I just was fed up with like not like anything. I don't I I'm not here to like threaten anyone or anything. >> No. No. When you when you say you're not doing well yourself, you mean mentally, physically? I mean, tell us a little more about what's going on with you. >> I just I'm stressed with like work and like >> having trouble like just like working and >> Mhm. >> Yeah. About an hour after Addison's posts, Snapchat generated the emergency disclosure forwarded to the FBI. Around the same time, she lost access to her account and the memories stored on it, prompting her to text her mother, "I'm actually going to lose my mind." >> Did you already tell him where you're living and all that good stuff? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I won't you asking the same questions then? >> Huh? >> I said I won't bother asking you the same questions then. Do you want to do hair specifically? >> Um, yeah. I want to do hair. I did a school back in Colorado through high school and then I came out here. But I >> not anymore. >> What I'm going to do now? >> Addison moved to Clear Water to continue pursuing her cosmetology license at the Aveda Institute. Unfortunately, the posts she made this morning are about to jeopardize those plans. >> All right, you are the director here. >> Obviously, you know what's going on. You hear from the whole thing. She's going to go to jail. Um, she's going to be arrested for essentially written threats. What happened was is when that was posted on Snapchat, it was flagged, sent to the FBI, they called us. >> Okay. >> And we knew she was here. Obviously, she's probably not going to be a student here anymore. Correct. >> Okay. And that was my next thing is if you want to have her trespass or anything else so that she can't return to the property. That's something. >> All right. So, with all things considered, we do have to terminate your enrollment. And with that termination, you are not allowed back on premise. Obviously, I'm not going to have you collect your things today. at a later date, but at that time because you do have a trespass on you for this property, law enforcement would have to come with you to collect your belongings. >> Okay. So, >> so no, I can't you can't be here and you're not any longer enrolled. We'll process your paperwork today. >> You'll get information on what that looks like after the fact. Um, obviously there's a lot of things going on today, so I can tell you what it looks like, but I you're going to forget most of it. It's going to come in an email. So, we submit your drop paperwork with your termination. Um, >> it a little closer. >> Or vice versa. >> You should still pursue a cosmetology license. Like, just because things didn't go well here doesn't mean you can't still get a license, right? If that school reaches out to us, we don't tell them why we terminate a student. We don't even tell them that we terminate a student. You can make up whatever story you wanted truthfully. Addison is expelled and issued a trespass warning for the Aveda Institute, effectively banning her from the premises indefinitely. >> All right, go ahead and stand up for me. Turn around. She pled not guilty and her case remains ongoing.
