MAN COMES UP TO ME AFTER I RECORD HIS TRAFFIC STOP #cash #payedinfull #money
Summary
A content creator documented a traffic stop where officers allegedly departed quickly upon noticing the camera. The creator later encountered the driver, who expressed gratitude, stating the creator "saved my ass." The driver had been let go by police after they detected a smell of "herbs" and noted he had a medical card. The creator speculates the smell might have originated from the police cars.
Why it may matter: This video touches on themes of police transparency, potential police misconduct (e.g., leaving the scene quickly, alleged traffic violations by officers), and the interaction between citizens filming police and law enforcement. The driver's gratitude and the creator's role in potentially influencing the interaction are also relevant.

The other night I go and check out this traffic stop. I happen to be a couple hundred yards away doing an investigation. And I see this traffic stop pop up. So, I'm like, "Yeah, I might as well go walk down here and check it out." As soon as the cops see the camera, they're like, "Let's get out of here." There he's putting his fingerprints on the back of the car, leaving a little evidence behind. That was quick. I could smell herbs just roaring out and then I think they said he's got a medical card. So, I head back down the street where I was working on my investigation. Apparently, that's where the driver happened to go to at the same time. And when I get there, I see the uh Here comes from behind, big boy. >> I didn't realize that at the time.
