HOW IS THIS LADY THE CHIEF OF POLICE HAWK COVE TEXAS REVISIT WORST EVER #police #law #crime
Summary
This video features content creator Chuck Bronson presenting a revisit to Hawk Cove, Texas, alongside fellow creator Auto the Watchdog. The creators engage in a lengthy, tense conversation with Hawk Cove Police Chief Ronna McKeehan outside a municipal building. They dispute the wording of a disorderly conduct sign, request complaint and public records forms, and debate local fire codes regarding locked doors.
Why it may matter: This interaction highlights the ongoing friction between First Amendment auditors and small-town law enforcement in Texas. It illustrates how past citations—specifically a prior ticket issued to Auto the Watchdog—fuel repeated visits, audits, and criticisms of local officials' legal knowledge and administrative practices.

Welcome to the Chuck Bronson channel. This is a revisit to Hawk Cove, Texas with Auto the Watchdog. This is where James Freeman once visited, too. [Music] Hello. Hi. Hi, good morning. Why do you do stuff like that, dude? Like what? Like make all that noise and stuff. >> Oh. I got I've did it I'm did like a my grandma always told me I'm like a bull in a china closet. I believe that. It hasn't improved with age. How are you once you I'm having a fantastic morning. I hope you're having a good morning. I was just wondering if you had a complaint form available. A complaint form available? >> Yep. What kind of what I would like if I had a complaint against the police, I would like to >> Officer complaint form. >> Yeah, a complaint against an officer. This is This is my buddy. He'll tell you his name if you want it if you ask him nicely. He won't. No. And thanks everybody that's already hit the thumbs up. Don't forget to leave 10 comments below. Let me know what you think. >> Abusive and indecent or vulgar language. Oh my god, Miss McKeehan. I am so disappointed right now. There you have a sign up here that that actually misquotes 4201. Ask me how I know. It says It says any language offends anyone will be cited or arrested and that's not the that's not the statute. It said I do need that complaint form, though. It says the the statute actually says uses abusive or profane language and it's the language by its very utterance tends to incite immediate breach of the peace. So this is actually misquoted. That's probably why you accidentally got a bunch of people arrested the other day. You remember? I do want a complaint form. I want to complain about this sign right here that says Thank you, Ronna McKeehan, Chief of Police. That's what I'm trying to make a complaint about. Because it was here last time I came through and I said something about it and nobody's done anything. It's been there for an awfully long time. And also that orange sign that's on the other side of this door that says authorized personnel only, the one that you're standing in front of says that you only accept $2 and loose change and that's not okay, either. And that's been there since Ma'am. That's very rude. She just locked the deadbolt. That's so rude of you. But that sign's also not okay because if I wanted to come in here and pay pay my my bills with with change, I should be able to do that, I think. Why are you Why are you like Who are you even? Who is that lady? Is that a lady? Hi, how you doing? All right. All right. Do you like it? I finally got merch. Really? >> I'll give you one if you want one. Okay. Would you like a sticker? >> to advertise for you. You shouldn't put it on your hat, though. I should. I should. Well, that's a different machine. I can't afford it yet. Can I have a dollar? It I mean, we don't we don't have to be hostile all the time. It can be funny. It was supposed to be funny to begin with. You're the one that picked to be hostile, sound like a damn bull breaking in the front door. >> Well, I apologize that I'm a little bit rougher than some people. And you and police is bull in a china shop. >> I am and police is misspelled. It says olice. There's no P in your olice. I Ma'am, I I >> Where'd the P go? Somebody stole that and I I I am very disappointed that I had nothing to DO WITH THAT. [Laughter] I ALSO DIDN'T PAINT A WEED LEAF ON THE SIDE OF THIS building about five or six years ago and I definitely don't KNOW WHO DID. I REALLY DON'T THINK THAT'S FUNNY. You're a bull I thought he was Yeah, see like I said, I mean, this is a tripping hazard. I would hate to I would hate for somebody >> You did it when you shoved the door open like a madman. My bad. Do you got that complaint form? She's looking for one. You're so sweet. I can't believe you don't have one on hand. Well, believe it or not, you're the only one that comes around and complains. >> Maybe I'm the only one with enough balls to say something. You don't have any of that one on I mean, so so So did you run out? Did you print some and you just used them all? That's probably it. They probably passed them all out. >> that anybody at that council meeting that's been so talked about widely wanted to make a complaint? None of them made a complaint. I think they filed an official complaint, just not with you, I guess. I think they have better They can look online and find them. Who's that lady? Just the lady that works here. Oh. What is her name? I'm not going to tell you that. Well, then I need an open records request form, also. Okay. We don't have those. You don't have you don't you don't What forms do you >> I do a public records request? Can I do one verbally with you? >> out who she is. Usually uh Uh he knows how to do that. Yeah. Well, cuz what if I didn't know? But you do know. Well, I I >> deal. >> He doesn't. >> You do know. He doesn't. Well, so you can tell him. He's your friend. I don't you I don't like this guy, though. Just cuz Just because we're sleeping Just because we're sleeping together doesn't MEAN WE'RE SLEEPING THANK YOU, MA'AM. I APPRECIATE THAT. [Music] IS THAT HER? That's Ronna McKeehan. Okay. Yeah. That's funny. Oh, it is funny. It doesn't have to be so Chief of Police? Yeah, I know. It's funny. There she has no P in her olice over here. Uh oh, and she finally So look, if you'll notice there's a blink security camera over like the the hub over here on the wall. If you look on the top of it, there's a there's a pin drive. The hell is it? Oh, that's the that's where all the blink security cameras report back to and save locally. Mhm. So if somebody was to come in here and steal that, >> Just unplug it? >> I mean, no. I mean, you could put it on the other side of the door where it would probably been a better spot, but I you know, there's like restrictions and Yeah. Okay, she can't find any complaint forms. Okay, can I make a complaint right now with you if you don't mind? Um That sign does not reflect what disorderly conduct statute is. You should be an expert in that. >> I am absolutely an expert in in 4201 disorderly conduct. I actually just recently got my first A5, What's that? >> unreasonable noise. That's the first one ever. Can you believe that? >> A5? Yeah. Disorderly conduct A5. This is A1, 4201 A1. Person that uses abusive, indecent, profane, or vulgar language in a public place and and then it would be there's a I don't think that's right. I think it's a semicolon and the language by its very utterance tends to incite an immediate breach of the peace. That's not the correct language. Okay. So it I mean, if that was corrected, then I would technically be okay with that, but also you would you would need to understand that a person can I mean, for example, for example, call you a You know what I mean? Because it's protected. And they and they can say They can say >> on what you're doing and who is offended by what you're doing. >> we're If we're escalating a fight and I'm cussing at you while we're escalating a fight, then it would be fighting words under the fighting words doctrine. There's There's a whole second Like it's it's a really high bar to arrest somebody for speech. I mean, right. They have to be engaged There has to be an like a fight brewing and these people are calling each other terrible names back and forth to one another. So didn't you just get arrested in Paris? Uh-huh. Yeah, some Somebody was telling me that. >> Yeah. that bad. No, somehow some guy was uh unhappy about you. Oh. That his wife was offended or something like that. Something like that. There's always somebody that that that's feelings are hurt. But if one person has a feeling has it get their feelings hurt and calls the cops, it doesn't mean that somebody goes to jail. Not always. Not always. What if I had one person call and say that they liked my signs? Yeah, we had this conversation before. If I find somebody that likes it, would that make it okay? I mean, >> It depends on where you are. Not really. >> Yeah. >> I do this across the country. >> sidewalk. Yeah. It's where he always is. Yeah, I always stay on the public place. You look familiar, but I don't know why. I don't think you've ever been here. I don't think so. I mean, I'm sure there's probably been a few My bolo was out on me, but you might be a subscriber. Oh, he was in that bolo. You were in that bolo that that went out at that time during the Rockwall protest. Did you get a copy of that? Oh, really? Did they give you one? Do you remember? Oh, you would have remembered it. My face was on there. I had a big old smile on it. Dude, I see your face I'm sure it could have been on anything. >> I'm so sorry. I do that on purpose, though. Oh, I'm sure. >> Yeah. Get your name out there and people might know who you are. It's I mean, Seriously, though, you need to put that dog on your hat. >> Yeah, I wanted to, but the machine it's a different machine and when I ordered these hats, there's a there's a seam that goes right across the middle and I I didn't know enough to know that that was not super awesome. So they want you to have the flat one and it looks funny. So Can't you just put a like a band on the top? I'm sure I could. I'm just I mean, one one of these days >> and you're trying to make money. Yeah, one of these days I'll I'll probably do that. You need to You need to like dress up and wear a suit and stuff. I was wearing a button-up shirt, but this has my logo on it. And also doesn't have a pocket. Cuz I need my pocket. Police don't treat business people the same as they would a homeless person. That's true actually. When I dress homeless, I get jacked with way harder violent yeah violent and sometimes Dallas Dallas and Denver were the worst. Really? Yeah. I thought that's where you were in uh Yeah, you were in out of Texas. You're good. Yeah, you did. You ran me out of Texas completely. Well. I don't know what Out of where? That's on you. That's between you and God. Yeah, sure is. I think I'm good with God. Not not so good with not so good with the church anymore though. That was not so good though. Shouldn't do bad stuff. What did I do that was bad? I don't want to get into it with you. I mean you know It wouldn't do any good. It wouldn't. No, you are stubborn just like that. I mean I just want you to know that you created this. Oh, really? Yeah, you sure did. how you try to gaslight us. I'm it's not. I'm just letting you know that that you made the watchdog. You are so full of You are though. Oh, crap. You are. You gave you gave me that you gave me that ticket for potato. [Laughter] You gave me a ticket for a potato and and I lost my and then and then the retaliation that came after that was just cherries on top. Can I get that form? I got to do today. Hi, ma'am. Hi, how's it going, buddy? Don't let us bother you. I'm going to sit here talking to my best friend in the world Rhonda McKinnon, the chief of police of this finest city. I'll get out of your way. Just come over here. Miss McKinnon, you have a you have a different customer here that would like to speak with you. All right, Robert. Are you with um How come but how come he's invited and locked in? That's against fire code. You can't lock the building down like that. The the there's a window behind there. Oh, yeah. I guess they're closing it off. There's too much interaction with the people. I don't think they're going to give me a form. She goes in and locks the door. They don't have any forms. I figured Deputy Doowop's on his way in. Here Miss Miss McKinnon, I'm going to I'm going to leave a card right here in case you didn't have one before. I don't know. I think the last time you were here you just cluttered them around. I did. Is that okay? Would you like a sticker this time? How come he got invited in and we didn't? Cuz you like him better than You're discriminating against us? Is is it because I'm black? Yes. [Applause] HAVE A GOOD DAY. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE. YEAH, I'M GOING TO stay your butt out of jail. Well, I'm I do the best I can. I can't I I have to Do you like to go to jail? No, I hate it. I absolutely hate it. But you know what? I do like Look, here's another one. And it's here, too. 42 it was like well I I only do things that are incorrect. I'm going to have to look this one up cuz I don't know that one. Okay, I appreciate you. Well, this one's kind of okay. Municipal court is in session. That's okay. That one's been there a long time and this one's old as Anyway, hope you have a good day. That's not okay either. Well, I mean as long as it's as long as it's still Oh, it's just the COVID-19 stuff. I know. It's like really old. So, this is the chief of police lady that ticketed Auto, the watchdog, for giving away free vegetables on the side of the road without a permit. He was giving away food to the less fortunate trying to help people in the community and this lady had a problem with it. She was so disturbed by the fact that he was helping the misfortunate that she was more than willing to write him a ticket and fine him and take money from his family just for simply trying to help other people. And of course she was misquoting the law misusing her authority just absolutely disgusting. And then James Freeman showed up soon after that and that's when a big scandal came out with her and her boyfriend and that showed up. The videos are still around if you can find them. It was hilarious. Well, I well it was You're talking about somebody's life. That's not funny. No, it was it was because you you put the officer down on the page. No, you didn't. I didn't have anything to do. No, I didn't. It wasn't our idea. Oh, well I thought it said Rhonda McKinnon, chief of police department. Well, I don't know who said whatever, but I don't like call up the newspaper and It was a post it was a post that said officer down and then and then we found out later that it was a diabetic emergency and I was like well that's not funny. He literally died in the parking lot and then your smart ass comes in with some donuts acting like a jerk. That's rude. That is not okay. Well, well I didn't know that he that he's hyper. I thought I thought he was I thought he dropped in blood sugar. I didn't know that it went too high. I didn't know that cuz I mean that is up cuz I literally brought him something that would kill him. I thought that it would help him. It was supposed to be a like a medical supply. I didn't know it was the other way around. Well, either way that was pretty rude. It was pretty rude. Not really. I know it's rude. I mean I mean that's not the point, right? I guess. Figure out of the watchdog That's probably your point, but Well, hey uh Is that is your video still running? Oh, yeah. It was still running. Give him a ticket. please give me a ticket? I got I did is it really No, no. It'll be another drama. It ain't worth it. in all the states. hey look, if I'm guilty I'll pay it. I will, you know. Yeah. Um but I didn't see you last time. You didn't? No, you would have remembered. You would have remembered. Yeah, I'm here potatoes. Yeah, I may have been gone. I don't know. There's a lot of tripping hazards here. According to OSHA. Well, since we don't have to do that then I would suggest you look where you're going. Yeah. glasses are too dark. They are dark. I can pop the lenses out, but then That wouldn't be fun. It would. Well, I hope you have a day whichever You have I have a terrible day. It's just fun. Say what you got. I don't really want you to have a terrible day. I do I do want you like honestly as a as one person to another I hope you have a good day. For the most part I have a good day every day. And it's against fire code to lock the doors like lock you and your staff in there like that. No, it isn't. Yes, it is. You might want to call the chief fire chief and find out it is. I promise you. Yes, it is. You can't lock people in a building. They're not locked in the building. If the deadbolt was locked I watched you lock it. That's right. They're not locked in the building. They can leave anytime they want. They're still locked in the building. You can't lock doors. Yes, they are. Call your fire chief. Maybe we should ask them and check on them and make sure that they're not being held captive. There's fire codes in the state of Texas. Yes, yes. All the crap that goes on around here. Yeah, that's at least yeah. That's why they make fire codes. So people don't get hurt or anything. Used to be. Didn't you really? Cool. That was that was before all the fires. Before You were a fireman before Yeah, well he he again was fighting fires with fire. Just the way that's happening. He was a fireman. I'll leave a link in the description for the fire code. Thanks everybody for watching.
